MT Boring was formed by Mervyn Tyers in the 1980’s as a specialist trenchless contractor serving western Canada. His son, Mike Tyers, started as a labourer in 1985 and moved up in the company learning all aspects from running equipment and crews, to estimating and managing projects, to now overseeing operations. Operating now under it's parent company

MT Boring continues to grow as a successful specialized contractor as we continue to add equipment and new services to increase our customer base. We have since expanded into to other trenchless methods such as pipe jacking, pipe ramming, conductor barrels, directional drilling, pipe bursting and slip-lining.
